CMY Counselling is a private company, and do not receive funding from any external sources.
For CMY Counselling to provide services to others the costs must be covered- therefore fees are charged to use our services. A clients first initial assessment is free of charge and lasts around 30 minutes, although can be shorter or longer depending on the needs of the individual being assessed.
CMY Counselling reserve the right to refuse to assess or bring a current assessment to an end if the person being assessed becomes distressed.
All appointments other than assessment sessions are charged for and the cost of this charge is advised well in advance of attendance, costs are for a 50 minute session with a therapist.
If a client has to cancel an appointment within 48 hours for any reason, they are still liable to pay for the session they had booked.
Fees are continually up for review to ensure we can provide the best value for money while still being highly accessible to people of all backgrounds.
All sessions apart from initial assessments will last 50 minutes. If a client is late to a session, TCMY Counselling will not be able to overrun due to appointments with other clients, so the session will have end at the original agreed time. You will still be liable to pay the full cost amount for your appointment if you are late.
CMY Counselling accepts payments by cash, card and bank transfer. Clients are required to pay for sessions on attendance and all fees must be paid within 24 hours of invoicing.
Should you need to cancel or postpone a session please contact reception as soon as possible. All cancellations within 48 hours will incur a full fee.
Appointments can be changed from face to face to online if needed.
Update to Terms and Conditions relating to COVID-19 or any other pandemic,
If in the event of a local/national lockdown.
1: CMY Counselling will continue to do video calls to those self-isolating. This means you will not miss a session.
2: If one of our staff will need to isolate, they will still be available to phone or video call the client from their home, there is no need to come into our centre if your therapist is isolating.
3: If you cancel, move an appointment due to self-isolation or lockdown:
3a: CMY Counselling’s standard terms and conditions for Fees and Payment remain applicable.
3b: CMY Counselling can and will continue to provide its services as we are recognised as a KEY service provider. As set and explained within this document, CMY Counselling has taken all reasonable and appropriate action to continue services.
4: Discontinuing services
4a: CMY Counselling’s standard terms and conditions for Fees and Payment regarding ending therapy remain applicable.
4b: CMY Counselling can and will continue to provide its services as we are recognised as a KEY service provider. As set and explained within this document, CMY Counselling has taken all reasonable and appropriate action to continue services.
5: In exceptional circumstances, we may be able to review those standard terms and conditions, but this will remain at CMY Counselling's discretion.
