I offer a supportive environment where you can talk openly, feel heard, and take time to better understand yourself and your experiences. I provide both arts-based, and more traditional talking therapy in Harlow (Essex), and online via phone call, video call or webchat.
I provide counselling for both teenagers and adults, and I work with a wide range of emotional and personal concerns, including stress, anxiety, low mood, relationships, confidence, and life changes. Whether you’re going through a difficult time or simply want space to reflect, you are welcome here. I have extensive training in working with neurodiverse people (as well as being neurodiverse myself), LGBTQIA+ people, and people who have suffered complex trauma.

We use the term “therapy” as a blanket term to describe a range of talking treatments, including arts based counselling, traditional talk counselling, psychotherapy and coaching. Therapy provides a safe, confidential space to speak with a trained professional about your feelings, experiences and concerns.
You may want to explore difficult events in your life, your relationships and emotions, or patterns of negative thoughts and behaviours you’d like to change. Therapists won’t tell you what to do or fix things for you, but they will listen with care and support you to understand yourself more clearly and make positive changes.
Common issues I work with include: anxiety, depression, low mood, anger management, relationships (I do not offer couples counselling) and addiction.
Art-based counselling is a gentle and creative approach that helps you explore thoughts, feelings and experiences when words feel difficult. It offers a safe space to express yourself through creativity as well as talking. Sessions may include a wide range of art forms such as drawing, sandtray, painting, collage, clay, mark-making and creative journaling. No artistic skill is needed! The focus is on self-expression, understanding and emotional support.
Individual counselling offers a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings and experiences. It can help with anxiety, stress, low mood, grief, relationships, self-esteem, trauma, or feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Sessions are shaped around you and move at a pace that feels comfortable, with time to explore what’s going on beneath the surface.
Therapy for children and teenagers offers a safe, confidential space to talk about what’s going on in their life, thoughts and feelings. It can help with anxiety, low mood, stress, friendships, family difficulties, self-esteem, school pressures and big life changes. Therapy may involve talking, practical coping strategies, creative activities or exploring emotions in different ways. Therapy is a place to make sense of things, build resilience and feel less alone.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teaches you to cultivate mindfulness, enhancing your emotional well-being and reducing stress.
CBT is a logic-based therpay that helps you address and change negative thought patterns and behaviours, empowering you to overcome challenges.
Text-based counselling is a form of therapy where clients and counsellors communicate through written messages rather than verbal conversation. This approach supports privacy and accessibility.
